The Norway national football team (NorwegianNorges herrelandslag i fotball) represents Norway in international association football and is controlled by the Football Association of Norway, the governing body for football in Norway. Norway's home ground is Ullevaal Stadion in Osloand their head coach is Lars Lagerbäck. It is, as of February 2018, ranked by FIFA as the 56th best football team in the world.[2]

Norway has participated three times in the FIFA World Cup (193819941998), and once in the UEFA European Championship (2000).

Norway is also notable as the only national team that has never lost any of the matches it has played against Brazil. In four matches played, Norway has a 2–2–0 (2 wins and 2 draws) record against Brazil, with one of those victories coming in a friendly in 1997 and the other in a 1998 World Cup group stage match.
